Description

Nos 50 to 52 on Northgate Street are two-storey buildings dating from the 17th century, constructed with a timber frame and brick infilling. The front, which is from the early 19th century, is rough cast and features a parapet with coping. The gable end has a slate roof. On the first floor, there are two recessed sash windows with later glazing bars and block sills. The ground floor showcases a mid-19th century shop front with fluted pilaster strips, a frieze, and a cornice. Timber framing is visible at the rear. These buildings, along with Nos 46 to 55, form a group.
