Description

The Drewett tomb is a chest tomb located in the churchyard by the south wall, approximately 16 meters south of the porch of the Church of St. John. It dates from the later 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features a pennant plaque that projects forward, flanked by drapery drops. It has lyre ends adorned with floral drops and carved arms. The tomb is finished with a moulded base and cornice, and it has a ridged top stone.
