Description

Rosslyn is a detached cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of English bond brick with a stone plinth and quoins, and has a tiled roof and gable end brick stacks. The building is arranged in an L-plan shape.

The two-storey, three-window front has a 19th-century door with a flat wooden hood supported by pilasters, located to the right of the centre. Either side of the door are four-pane tripartite sash windows. The ground floor sashes have vitrified brick lintels. The first floor has four-pane tripartite sashes on either side of a central four-pane sash, all set within moulded architraves. A gabled dormer window is visible in the roof.

To the left of the main cottage is a lean-to garage. A rear wing features four-pane sashes and casement windows. The interior of the cottage has not been inspected.
