Description

Priory Steps, located in Newtown, is a building from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone-tiled roof and features three coped gables with saddle stones. The building is two stories high and has three windows, which include sashes and stone-mullioned casements. The door openings are square-headed and chamfered in stone. There is a weathered string at floor level. Priory Lodge, its boundary walls, the Priory Barn, and Nos 1A to 3 (consecutive) form a group with this building.
