BIDDESTONE SLAUGHTERFORD ST 87 SW 4/86 Honeybrook Farmhouse 20.12.60 with barn range and beebole (Formely listed as Honey Brook Farmhouse)

Farmhouse, late C17 or early C18, rubble stone with stone tiled roof. Ashlar west end stack and end wall to rear wing. 2 storey, 'L'-plan. South front with large gable and 2 window range of 3- light ovolo-moulded mullion windows with hoodmoulds. Central door with hood on brackets. Rear has door with hood on brackets and a 2 storey rear range added behind north end gable, running east to west, 2 window range with slate roofed lean-to against north wall. Added to west end wall of main house is stone tiled barn range with 5-chamber ashlar beebole on south wall, 4 chambers in square lower part, fifth set in pedimental upper section with coping over. Identical to beebole at The Little House, Cuttle Lane (q.v.).
