Description
Beddau Farmhouse features a farm range with two adjacent bee-boles. Each bee-bole has projecting lintels and sills made of rough monolithic stone, and they are located within the southeast-facing wall of a long farm range. The rubble stone structure is partially ruined and has lost its roof coverings. It consists of six bays with a central masonry dividing wall and light Queen-post trusses. There are planked doors facing northwest, positioned under segmental voussoired heads at different heights. The left half of the range has three doors, while the right half has one door. Additionally, a further door with a flat head has been added to the far right. There are two openings leading to the loft. The southeast wall, which contains the bee-boles, has been rendered and whitened, and it has no other openings. An iron tie plate is fixed to this wall. Access to the interior of the farm range was not available at the time of inspection on September 25, 1998.
