Description

The garden walls, gate, and piers at Melbourne House date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of brick in an English garden wall bond, featuring swept weathered stone coping and limestone quoins. The square stone gate piers have moulded weathered cappings. A 19th-century cast iron gate with spear heads completes the entrance. The walls are connected to the right front of Melbourne House.
