Description
72 Endless Street is a mid to late 18th century building that stands two storeys tall and is constructed of colourwashed brick. It features a raised plinth and a first-floor string course that runs between the window heads. The eaves cornice is moulded and coved, and the gable end roof is covered with slate.
On the first floor, there are four windows, while the ground floor has three recessed sash windows without glazing bars, all set beneath slightly cambered stucco arches. In the second bay from the left on the ground floor, there is a door made up of six fielded panels, which is framed by an eared architrave. Above the door, a six-light glazed frieze is supported by console brackets that hold up a moulded cornice and a pediment.
This building is part of a group that includes Nos 52 to 56 (even) and 60 to 74 (even).
