Description

76 Endless Street is an early 19th century villa situated in a dominant position, closing the vista up Endless Street. The building is constructed of painted stucco with a low-pitched slate roof and flat eaves. It originally had two storeys, but the east front now includes an additional floor to the centre and right. The front features four windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor, all recessed sash windows with intact glazing bars. On the ground floor, the left side incorporates a large, canted bay window with a central French casement, a pilaster frame, a dentil cornice, and a blocking course. The centre of the ground floor has tripartite French windows divided by a pilaster, a frieze, and a small dentil cornice. A recessed six-panel door is set within a moulded surround on the left. The villa formerly had a good wrought iron verandah.
