Description

This is a large house dating from approximately 1820 to 1830. It is located at 47 Endless Street and 1 Fulford Place and is built with a cement-rendered front. The design incorporates a plinth and substantial, fluted pilasters which extend upwards from a band at first-floor level and also flank the central bay. A block cornice tops the building, followed by a panelled parapet and coping. The symmetrical facade features five windows on the upper floors, with original sash windows retaining their glazing bars. The ground floor has four tall sash windows within architrave surrounds. A central recessed glazed door is surmounted by a rectangular fanlight with marginal glazing. Rendered pilasters flank the entrance, though the original pediment has been removed. The building is part of a group with No. 45 Endless Street.
