Description

The granary at Donhead Hall Farm is an early 19th-century structure. It is built of dressed limestone and features a half-hipped tiled roof. The building is a single storey raised over a basement and has two elliptical barrel vaults. There is an offset string course at the ground floor level. The southwest front has a planked door accessed by stone steps. Each gable end includes a two-light leaded casement window on the left side, while the centre of the rear ground floor also has a two-light leaded casement window. The interior has not been inspected. This granary is noted as an unusual example of a stone granary.
