Description
Large barn, probably built around 1800, located to the southwest of The Manor. The barn features timber framing covered with weatherboarding, set on a plinth of rubble stone and brick, topped with a half-hipped Welsh slate roof. It has nine bays. The west side includes a central cart entry with corrugated iron doors, flanked by lower double planked doors, and two six-pane windows to the left, with a planked loading bay to the right. The east side has an open cart entry to the central bay, double planked doors to the left, and an attached lean-to made of English bond brick on the right. Inside, the cart entry is separated from the rest of the barn by weatherboarded partitions. The roof features a queen post truss design with straight braces connecting the tie-beam to the jowled main posts.
