Description

The barn located to the south of The Manor is likely from around 1800. It features a timber frame covered with weatherboarding, sitting on a rubble stone base, and has a half-hipped roof made of Welsh slate. The structure consists of five bays and includes an open cart entry on the west side that faces the yard, along with planked loading bays at the gable ends. The roof is supported by a queen post truss with straight bracing connecting the jowled main posts to the tie-beams. This barn shares similar construction details with the large barn located to the southwest of The Manor.
