Description

The Burnett Monument is a chest tomb located about 4 metres north of the chancel of the Church of All Saints in Chicklade. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features two plain panels with well-executed lettering and fielded pilasters. The moulded flat top is badly weathered, as noted during a survey in August 1986. The monument commemorates Henry Burnett, who died in 1767.
