Description
A pair of estate cottages dating from the mid-19th century, built for the Seymour family. They are constructed of rubble stone with a Welsh slate roof and axial brick stacks. The cottages are single-storey with an attic, and feature a two-window arrangement. Both cottages have planked doors, with No. 25 set within a brick lean-to porch. A central double-gabled projection contains a three-light casement with a hoodmould in each cottage. The attic gables each have a two-light casement, and the barge boards are elaborately carved. Returns on both sides of the cottages feature two-light casements to both the ground and first floors. The rear elevation has a planked door and a two-light casement in each cottage. The cottages are noted as a good example of estate building in Maiden Bradley.
