Description
Numbers 60 and 61, known as Pond Cottage, are a pair of cottages from the early 19th century, possibly built on an earlier structure. They are constructed of whitewashed chalk and partly cement rendered, featuring a roof with Bridgwater tiles and both end and ridge stacks. The cottages are two storeys high. Each house has a triple casement window, with a pair of leaded casements above and a door to the left. Number 60 is rendered, while Number 61 has painted brick sides around the windows and door, with brick angles. Number 60 also has a two-window rear wing that includes leaded casement pairs; the ground floor windows have Tudor-arched heads, and the upper windows feature Tudor-arched top quarries.
