Description

The barn at No 59, also known as Alley Cottage, is an 18th-century structure located in Compton Bassett. It features a timber frame and thatched roof set on a red brick plinth. The roof is half-hipped with a hipped projection for the east entry. The barn consists of five bays, supported by two principal tie-beam and collar trusses, along with two smaller collar trusses.
