Description
This is a pair of 18th-century chest tombs located in the churchyard, 5 meters south-east of the chancel of the Church of St. George. They are made of limestone and feature moulded tables with reeded fasciae, moulded bases, and recessed corner balusters. The inscriptions are set within baroque panels. The northern tomb commemorates William Woolldridge, although the date of death is illegible. The southern panel includes carved trees and draped urns, dedicated to Elizabeth Woolldridge, who died in 1786.
