Description

Home Farmhouse is an 18th-century house situated at a right angle to the road in Ogbourne. It is largely colourwashed brick over stone, with a 20th-century tiled roof. The main, west-facing front has three bays. A central entrance features a six-panelled door with a bracketed canopy. A plat band runs along the front. Ground-floor windows are timber casements with segmental brick arches, while the upper-storey windows are leaded, with two or three lights. Gable stacks are present. The initials "IK" are set in brick header to the road gable. A rear wing extends from the main house; this wing has one bay, is two storeys high, and has a tile-hung upper floor, as well as a single-storey extension. The interior was not inspected.
