Description
This barn, located to the south of Bambury Hill Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of squared and coursed rubble, featuring wooden lintels and a roof made of corrugated asbestos, which was originally covered with stone slates. The barn has a T-shaped plan consisting of three bays and includes a south midstrey. The north face has two-leaf plank doors, while the west end has a single plank door leading to the loft. The midstrey is accessed through corrugated iron doors. Inside, there is a simple collar and tie-beam roof structure, with some timbers having been renewed. The barn is included in the listing primarily for its group value with Bambury Hill Farmhouse.
