Description
This is an early to mid-19th century house, originally part of a row, now used as offices and divided into two units. The building is constructed of painted ashlar with a Welsh slate hipped roof. A two-storey extension was added in the later 19th century to the left. The house is three to four storeys high and has three windows on its front elevation. A central 6-panelled door is recessed within a later 19th century porch. To the right of the door is a 12-pane sash window with side lights, and to the left is a 4-pane sash window with side lights. The right-hand section features a Guilloche band to the first floor and pilasters with stucco decoration on the first and second floors, along with two 12-pane sashes featuring wrought iron balconies. The left-hand section has one 4-pane sash window. The second floor is defined by a plat band and incorporates two 9-pane sashes. The building has an ornamental plaster cornice to deep eaves. The building has group value with No. 16, as they represent a pair of Regency houses linked by a central bay of blind windows.
