Description

This is a chest tomb dating from around 1700, located about 8 meters north of the north aisle of the Church of St Matthew in the churchyard. The tomb is constructed from ashlar stone and features a moulded capstone. Each side has two sunk panels adorned with high relief motifs: a lozenge and a heart on the south side, and a shield with crossed bones on the north-west end, which also includes a skull and an hourglass.
