Description

24 and 25 The Green are a pair of attached houses dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from painted squared, coursed limestone rubble and feature a central brick ridge stack with a slate roof. The houses have a double-depth plan and are two storeys high, each with a two-window range. The outer flat-headed doorways contain six-panel doors, with No. 24 having a three-pane overlight. The windows are 8/8-pane sashes, with two on the ground floor; the window beside the door of No. 25 is a 6/6-pane sash. The interior of No. 25 has been altered, while No. 24 has not been inspected.
