Description

This is a house located at 29 The Green, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of painted limestone ashlar, with a brick left-hand gable and a central ridge stack, topped with a stone slate roof. The house has a lobby-entry, single-depth, two-room plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, featuring a two-window range. The front is double-fronted, showcasing an ashlar surround around the panelled door, which is topped by a bracketed timber canopy. The mid-19th century plate-glass sash windows have timber lintels and margin panes, and there are two gabled dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
