Description

These are a pair of attached houses situated on The Green in Calne, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of painted limestone ashlar, with a brick ridge stack and a slate roof. The houses follow a double-depth plan and are two storeys high with an attic. The front has a 1:2-window arrangement. Each house has a round-arched doorway with a three-pane overlight and a six-panel door. An elliptical-arched carriageway is located on the right-hand side. The windows are 8/8-pane sashes. A mid-20th century gabled dormer window with a casement has been added to the left-hand side. The interior has not been inspected.
