Description
The former coach house, dating from the mid-19th century, is located opposite the north end of the Riding School. It is a single-storey building constructed of gault brick with headers. The structure features a central gabled break topped with a small wooden bell turret and has a hipped tiled roof. Notable architectural details include raised brick quoins, a plinth, and a moulded eaves cornice that continues around the gable, forming an open pediment. A Roman numeral gilt lettered clock is situated in the gable, accompanied by two side lunettes and two flanking glazed round-headed doors. Each side of the building now has a modern bay lean-to, with the left side replacing a gateway to a "U" plan stable yard that has a quarry tiled floor.
