Description
Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It has an 'L'-shaped rear range with a low-pitched slate roof from the 19th century and a front range from the late 17th century or early 18th century with a stone-tiled roof. The front range features coped gables, end stacks, and a two-storey, three-window front with recessed ovolo-moulded windows and hoodmoulds. The side windows are three-light, while the central first-floor window has two lights, and there is a central six-panel door with a hood on brackets. A buttress is located on the west end wall.
The rear range includes a curved stair tower on the north front, a two-light recessed ovolo-moulded window on the first floor to the right of the door, and casement windows. There is a 19th-century upper window above a blocked door to the left and a 19th-century stack at the east end. The wing has a chimney gable on the west side, with recessed chamfered mullion windows at the north end, including a two-light window above and a three-light window with a hoodmould below. The east side features two first-floor two-light mullion windows, one recessed chamfered and the other unmoulded from the 19th century, along with a ground floor two-light ovolo-moulded window, a single light, and a door. A single-storey outbuilding projects at the north-east angle, and a two-storey dairy with a half-hipped west gable projects from the west end.
