Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of painted sarsen and brick, topped with a thatched roof. The building is a single storey raised in brick to a single storey and attic, featuring two bays and a central five-panelled door set within a trellis porch. The ground floor has 20th-century windows, while the upper floor boasts leaded windows from the 18th to early 19th century. There is a blocked entrance on the right gable and a 20th-century lean-to at the rear.
