Description

Merrett's Roost is a 17th-century house constructed of painted brick, likely replacing an earlier timber-frame structure. It features a half-hipped roof with a ridge stack and is 1½ storeys tall. The ground floor includes a door with a pair of casement windows to the left, a triple casement window, and a small triple casement window to the right. On the first floor, there is a pair of casement windows located under an eyebrow dormer. Additionally, there is a 20th-century lean-to at the north end of the building.
