Description

SHREWTON HIGH STREET SU 04 SE (east side) 3/239 Gennings Monument in the churchyard, about 1.5 metres west of north-west corner of tower of Church of St. Mary, the Virgin. GV II Chest tomb. Third quarter C18. Limestone. Plinth, two panels with moulded edges to each main side and one to ends, reeded corner pilasters and central reeded pilaster between panels. Moulded flat top. Robert Gennings died 1762.
