Description
The Simprins monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 12 metres south of the nave of the Church of St. James. It dates from the early 19th century and features a moulded table and base. The sides of the tomb have paired panels, which are flanked by reeded pilasters and separated by tied drapes. The monument commemorates Isaac Simprins, who died in 1803.
