Description

Cranmer Cottage is a cottage dating from the 16th to 17th century. It features a timber frame with flint, and brick and stone quoining, topped with a thatched roof. The building is one storey with an attic and consists of three bays, positioned gable end to the road. It has a lobby entry plan with an attached lean-to on the left and a rear extension. The entrance includes a boarded door set within a simple 19th-century lattice-sided porch. The cottage has casement windows, which are leaded, and there are three flush dormers. A gable stack is present, and the roof is hipped to the left.
