Description

The Sheiling is a 17th-century cottage located in Enford, constructed with a timber frame and featuring a brick and flint gable. It has a thatched roof and is a single storey with an attic. The main block of the cottage includes a short wing on the left side that contains a side entrance. The framing is three panels high with corner braces present only in the wing, which has a lean-to built around an external wing stack. The right gable is made of brick laced flint and includes the principal stack and a blocked low opening. The cottage has 20th-century timber paned windows, while the first floor features leaded windows.
