Description

No. 77 in Fifield is a house dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame supported by brick and flint sill walls, with brick noggings. The rear of the house is constructed from brick and flint, and it has a thatched roof. The building consists of two bays and includes a single-storey timber-framed outbuilding on the right. Originally a single-storey structure, it has been raised to two storeys with corner braces and wattle and daub infill. The left bay has a half-glazed door that is covered by a bracketed corrugated-iron canopy, and there are timber casement windows throughout.
