Description
Lavender Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a concrete tile roof with a brick ridge stack located at the original east end wall. There is a south side eaves stack. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has a gable end facing the road, which includes a coped west gable. The west gable features a recessed ovolo-moulded two-light upper window and a recessed hollow-moulded three-light ground floor window with a hood. The windows are fitted with leaded lights. On the north side, there are three renewed dormer gables, one hollow-moulded two-light window with a hoodmould, and a door situated at the left end.
