Description
East Combe Farmhouse is an estate farmhouse built around 1840. It is constructed from squared coursed rubble stone and features a stone tiled eaves roof with tall paired ashlar stacks on the ridge and end walls. The building is one-and-a-half storeys in height and has an L-plan layout. It is designed in a picturesque 16th-century style, showcasing ovolo-moulded stone mullion windows, hoodmoulds, and small pane casements. The facade includes a four-window range, with four dormer gables, a single light window on the left end, and three two-light windows. On the ground floor, there are two-light and three-light windows, along with a door that has a hood supported by brackets and a three-light window. The rear wing features a triple end wall stack. This farmhouse is part of the Manor House estate.
