Description

Salem Chapel is a building from 1838 with a plain design. It is constructed of red brick and has two storeys with a low pitch hipped slate roof. On the first floor, there are three recessed sash windows, each four panes wide, featuring block sills and flat brick arches. The ground floor has two similar windows and wide double doors made up of six flush panels, which are set in a three-centred arched recess. Above the doors is a colour-washed tympanum that was formerly painted with false radiating glazing bars.
