Description

Avenue Cottage is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of The Close in Warminster. It is constructed from small ashlar blocks arranged in uneven courses and features a tiled roof with gabled end chimneys. The cottage has two storeys and is adorned with glazing bar sash windows, with three on the first floor and two single hung on the ground floor. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the upper four panels being glazed, and is topped by a modern wrought iron hood. To the left of the main structure is a former stable that has been extended to one and a half storeys, featuring a pointed doorway made of brickwork.
