Description

The gate piers and gates at the front of Broughton House date from the 17th century. They consist of three gates, four gate piers, and attached walling. The walls are made of rubble stone with a flat stone coping. The square ashlar gate piers feature obelisk pinnacles and moulded cappings. In the center, there is a wooden pedestrian gate flanked by double gates on either side.
