Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a mid-19th century cottage located at the end of a row on Hilperton Hill Street. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a Welsh slate roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The cottage has a two-storey, three-window south front, which includes three 16-pane sash windows on both the ground and first floors, topped with a moulded cornice and a plain blocking course. The right side of the cottage has a gable end facing the road, with a 20th-century door that has a flat stone hood supported by brackets. To the right of the door is a small 4-pane sash window, and above, there is a plat band at the first floor level with two 4-pane sashes and a small sash window in the attic. The rear of the cottage also features 16-pane sashes.
