Description

The wall and gate piers to Greywethers are located on the east side of The Street in Stanton St Bernard. They date from the 18th century or early 19th century. The gate piers are made of limestone and feature rusticated surfaces, with a moulded base, cornice, and a closing stop. Each pier is topped with raised ball finials. The front garden wall is constructed from squared sarsen blocks and has moulded and weathered limestone coping.
