Description
Greywethers is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed from Flemish brick and topped with a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. It has a central stair hall that leads through a double room plan. The entrance includes a six-panelled door with a fanlight set within a round arched opening, topped by a round canopy supported by timber brackets. The exterior is adorned with a stone plat band and raised quoins. On the ground floor, there are 12-pane sash windows with concealed boxes, which have gauged brick flat lintels featuring central keystones. The upper windows are 9-pane single hung sashes, also with similar lintels. The eaves are paired with modillion detailing, and the roof is hipped, supported by two brick stacks.
