Estate farmhouse, c1850, squared ashlar block with stone slate roof, coped shouldered gables and finials and paired rear octagonal stacks. Two storeys and attic, Tudor-style, T-plan. South front has projecting gable to right with attic Gothic roundel, first floor 2-light and ground floor 3-light stone mullion windows with hoodmoulds and leaded lights. Range to left has ashlar gabled porch with finial, single light over and 2-light mullion window to ground floor left. Similar window without hoodmould above under eaves-breaking shouldered gable with finial and blank plaque. West gable end has attic single light, first floor blank 2-light with hoodmould and ground floor 2-light slightly projected. Rear has gabled wing to left, lean-to dairy with cheese-room over to right, with mullion windows. Part of the Wiltshire estate of Lord Crewe, inherited from Hungerford family.
