Description

Rumsey Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse with an earlier core, constructed from rubble stone and topped with a Bridgwater tile roof. It features coped gables, a stack at the north end, and a ridge stack. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range. On the first floor, there are two triple casements and one pair of casements. The ground floor includes a pair of casements, a six-panel door with a hood supported by brackets, and a 17th-century four-light recessed ovolo-moulded stone mullion window with a hoodmould. The north end wall has been partially rebuilt in brick, and there is a north-east rear wing.
