Description
Manor Farmhouse is an estate farmhouse built around 1850-1860. It is constructed from squared ironstone rubble with ashlar dressings and features slate roofs and ashlar octagonal stacks. The building is two storeys high and follows a T-plan layout in the Tudor style, characterized by stone mullion windows and hoodmoulds.
The front of the farmhouse has a projecting crosswing to the right, which includes a ridge stack with three shafts, flush quoins, and a three-light window on each floor. The main range to the left has a projecting gabled porch with a cambered-head doorway and hoodmould, along with a three-light window to the left and another three-light window above it under a small eaves gable. In the angle between the crosswing and the main range, there is a small single-light window on the first floor. A stack with two shafts is located at the rear of the ridge. The crosswing also features a projecting two-storey gabled wing on the east side. At the rear of the main range, there is a lean-to verandah supported by timber posts. All windows throughout the farmhouse have small-paned casements.
