Description

No. 12 East Street is a house that features an 18th-century refronting of a timber-framed range. It is constructed of rubble stone and has a stone slate roof, with stacks at the south end and rear. The building has two storeys and an attic. The front is adorned with sash windows that have beaded surrounds, including three upper windows with thick glazing bars, each containing 24 panes, and two lower windows with 12 panes. The entrance is a central door also framed with a beaded surround. There is a cellar light located on the ground floor to the left. The north end wall is roughcast. The interior has not been inspected.
