Description

This is an 18th-century building on the north side of High Street. It is a three-storey structure with a stucco exterior, a moulded coping detail at the top, and a lead gutter. The roof is covered with old tiles and contains four windows on the upper floors. The ground floor features a 19th-century shop front with a pent roof supported by Doric columns. Nos. 131 to 144, together with the Midland Bank building, form a group, viewed in relation to the Town Hall and Nos. 1 to 12 on the opposite side of the street.
