Description
UPTON SCUDAMORE UPTON SCUDAMORE VILLAGE ST 84 NE (south side) 8/217 Three monuments in the churchyard between 2 and 7m north of chapel of Church of St Mary GV II Three chest tombs. Mid C18 Marchal tomb, south tomb to George Pearce died 1820, north tomb to John Lampard died 1796. Marchal tomb has 2 recessed moulded panels to main sides, cavetto-moulded flat top. Pearce tomb has two panels with beaded borders and fan spandrels, reeded pilasters and reeded frieze with rosettes and moulded flat top. Lampard tomb has two panels with foliage decoration, fluted pilasters with rosettes and moulded flat top.
