Description

Three monuments in the churchyard, located between 2 and 7 metres north of the chapel of the Church of St Mary, consist of three chest tombs from the mid-18th century. The Marchal tomb is situated in the south and features two recessed moulded panels on its main sides and a cavetto-moulded flat top. The tomb for George Pearce, who died in 1820, has two panels with beaded borders and fan spandrels, along with reeded pilasters and a reeded frieze adorned with rosettes, topped with a moulded flat surface. The north tomb, belonging to John Lampard who died in 1796, displays two panels decorated with foliage, fluted pilasters with rosettes, and a moulded flat top.
