Description
The foot monument located in the churchyard, about 4 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St. John, is a chest tomb from the early 19th century. It is made of limestone and features a plinth, an oval fielded panel with fluting on the main sides and ends, corner pilasters, and a moulded flat top. This monument commemorates Joseph Foot, who died in 1813. At the time of the survey in March 1985, the monument was overgrown with ivy.
