Pelican Cottage With Attached Barn

Pelican Cottage with attached barn is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick and features a thatched roof with a brick stack. The building is designed in an L-shape and is two storeys high, with a two-windowed front that faces at right angles to the road. This front includes a planked door in a greenhouse, a 2-light casement window to the left, and on the first floor, there is a 3-light leaded casement and another 2-light casement. The gable end facing the road has 20th-century casement windows. The range to the right is a timber-framed barn with weatherboarding and has 20th-century garage doors inserted. The rear of the barn features double planked doors. The interior of the barn includes a 4-bay tie-beam roof, while the interior of the cottage has not been inspected.
